Roadtrip

6th September

I went for a short trip to Malacca with my family. From Singapore, it was a 2 hour journey to our destination. After two hours of sitting in the car all cramped up, finally I was able to breathe in fresh air. My grandmother's house is situated in the rural side of Malacca and obviously the sight of chickens and cows running past us was terrifying which I thought would be chaotic if you see those around hdb flats in Singapore. As I looked up to a gigantic tree next to where I was standing, I realized that there's a bunch of rambutan dangling that were mostly unripe. Since there was no internet connection anywhere near my grandmother's house which was extremely miserable, my brother and I decided to roam around the village before it gets dark.

Sadly, these rambutan are not ready to be eaten yet. However they look so beautiful dangling from the branches of the tree. Somehow they remind me of grass that are being clustered together.

These flowers are scattered on the rocky ground which stands out proudly from the background.

There were various types of flowers growing randomly on the rough ground.

As I look down, there were a lot of overripe rambutan that has fallen from the tree.

Apparently this chicken tried to get in our car. Luckily my father chased it off before it could jump in the car and attack me. Overall, the trip back to Malacca was very refreshing!
